All YMCA programs, including leagues and competitions still require commitment to our values and safety including respect, and fair play. Leagues and Competitions offer you the chance to apply your skill in friendly competitions that include prizes, social events and refreshment and feature paid officials, timekeeping and stats management. Leagues
YMCA Youth Basketball League
Price: $249 (15% off for members and financial assistance is available upon request)
Ages: 10-14
Gender: Co-ed
Date: January 18 to April 21
Practices: Thursday Evening (6:30-7:30 PM)
Games: Sundays (1:00-3:00 PM)
Location: YMCA of Oakville (410 Rebecca Street, Oakville, ON L6K 1K7)
Participants will receive:
- Jersey
- Participation in Allstar Weekend (media day, food and refreshments, competitions, music, and playoff games)
- 1 practice a week (skill development from certified Canada basketball coaches)
- 1 game a week (officiated by Halton official referees)
This league offers:
- Learn the basics of basketball and how to work as a team. Learn dribbling, shooting, passing and more.
- Development of meaningful connections and an increased sense of belonging.
- Improved motor coordination, flexibility, and endurance. It also encourages speed, agility, and strength.
- Improved self-confidence where children find their voice and learn more about who they are in a new situation. As a team, members can encourage, motivate, and support each other.
YMCA Indoor Youth Soccer League
Price: $124.99 (15% off for members and financial assistance is available upon request)
Ages: 6-12
Gender: Co-ed
Date: January 21 to April 21
Games: Sunday Mornings (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
Location: YMCA of Oakville (410 Rebecca Street, Oakville, ON L6K 1K7)
Participants will receive:

- Introductory to organized indoor soccer by learning dribbling, passing, shooting and defensive strategy

YMCA Pickleball League
Price: Member $24.99 + HST, Non-Member $49.99 + HST
Ages: 18+
Gender: Co-ed Doubles

This league offers:
- 8-week session (final week playoffs)
- Onsite coordinator present each week to ensure flow of play, provide the schedule, keep track of the scores, handle any disputes or concerns.
- Access to our new Sports website where you will be able to see teams, schedule, standings, updates, news etc.
- Prizes to the winning teams
- A fun yet competitive way to test out your pickleball game!
