Babies & Me Postnatal Fitness

This postnatal fitness class will get you and your baby active, moving and in shape. Always consult with your doctor prior to starting a workout routine. It’s recommended moms wait at least 6 weeks to heal after natural birth and 12 weeks post Caesarean section before to starting any physical activity.

Box Fit

This class is popular for both men and women of all ages and fitness levels. It’s designed to increase both cardio and muscular strength and endurance, through series of boxing techniques of jabs, hooks, and kicks with the use of punching pads/bags. High Intensity Interval Training

HIIT is a 45-minute training class in which low to moderate intensity intervals are alternated with high intensity intervals. HIIT can be applied to running or to exercises such as squatting. HIIT is considered to be much more effective than normal cardio because the intensity is higher and you are able to increase both your aerobic and anaerobic endurance, combined with strength training exercises designed to tone your full body, while burning more fat than ever before.

  • For safety reasons, members cannot join in once a class has been in session for 5 minutes or more.
  • Group fitness classes are subject to a minimum participant number. A minimum of 5 members is required for aerobic classes, and 3 members for Cycle Fit classes. Attendance will be monitored for 3 weeks and then classes will be cancelled if minimum is not met.
