Packages and Activities
All packages are priced for children (12 years and under) and include 2 hours total, 1 hour of activity and 1 hour in the party room for food, presents, etc. You do have access to the party room during the activity. A YMCA staff member will be assigned to host your party which entails assisting with the party room set up and clean up as well as anything else you need throughout the party.

Gym Kids Party (2-6 years)
Fun for everyone! Party guests will have 1 hour in the gym to enjoy our popular bouncy castle, and a variety of activities including scooters, ride on cars, hula hoops, mini hockey, basketball, toddler slide and more.
Swim Party (7-12 years)
Splish, Splash with a pool party bash! Fun for all ages. Party guests will have 1 hour of fun in our warm leisure pool with waterfall jets. We have certified lifeguards on the pool deck to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
Craft Party (6-12 years)
Get creative with arts and crafts! Party guests can choose between painting or fun with beads including making jewelry and/or key chains, etc. It is an opportunity for the kids to explore their creative side while having fun.

Sports Party (6-12 years)
This party is sure to be a huge hit with all the sports enthusiasts! Party guests select the sport(s) they would like to play with their friends and family for 1 hour in our gym. We can set up the gym for basketball, soccer, pickleball, badminton or floor hockey. The kids can enjoy free play or organized games run by a parent, coach (brought by party guest) or one of our staff who can help run games.
Play Centre Party (3-10 years)
Our nautical designed play structure has lots of cool nooks and spaces for kids to enjoy creative and imaginative play. Kids can steer the underwater submersible, play various versions of Tag, or slide down the slide. Lots of fun to explore on the mats and the play structure.
Note: The YMCA does not provide decorations, food, drinks, napkins/plates/tablecloths, etc.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Birthday party bookings are subject to availability on Saturday and Sundays only during branch operating hours based on our schedule’s availability. You can check the availability on our website by clicking on the party of your choice, then click ‘CHECK AVAILABILITY’.
Our Base Party Package includes 2 hours total. 1 hour of a fun activity of your choice. The second hour is spent in the party room that we will assign to your party. You will have access to the party room during the activity.
Activity: Your chosen activity from 1 of our 5 party options including Gym Kids, Sports, Play Center, Swimming or Craft. The party host will set up the gym for gym kids and sports parties with YMCA equipment.
Party Room: The party room is available up to 15 – 30 minutes before the party. This is pre-planned with one of our party organizers. Adult and child size tables and chairs will be set up in the party room prior to parents/ guardians decorating. Parents/guardians must bring in their own decorations, plates, utensils, etc. Please no glitter, tape (sticky tack only), or pinatas with confetti inside (pinata with candy only is accepted).
Party Host: An assigned employee from our Child and Youth team will set up, clean up and be available throughout the party. YMCA staff will be available to supervise the activity upon request. They will supervise the bouncer and can help run activities upon request. Multiple certified lifeguards are on deck during swim parties. Parents must stay and actively supervise the kids during the parties.
The basic party package includes up to 12 kids and up to 30 adults. Each additional child is an extra $10 (up to 25 kids total). Each additional adult is an extra $10 each. This may be subject to staff availability. More than 25 kids will require additional staff.
The recommended age range is 3 to 12 years old, but please consider age appropriateness, swimming requirements and physical limitations. Children must be 36” to use the bouncer. Swim, craft and sports parties are designed for those 7 and older and the Jump and Play party is designed for children ages 3- 6 years.

All cancellations, and, refund requests of the party package and/or additional time, must be made in writing to [email protected]. Full refunds are available 14 days before the party. Cancellations within 14 days will be refunded less 35% for administrative fee. No refund within 7 days.
Parents/adults who are staying in the building are required to show their photo ID to our Membership Desk staff and let us know they are here for the birthday party.
No, but you are welcome to bring in your own cake and food or have food delivered. All food and drinks must stay within the allocated party room. The YMCA does provide a fridge/freezer for storage.
Swim Admission Policy: The YMCA of Oakville is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience. The following age restriction admission criteria for under 10 years of age are based on the Ontario Health Regulations and the YMCA Canada Child Protection Policy. Please read over the following swim admission criteria to ensure there is an adequate number of adults/guardians IN the pool during swim:

Yes, you can come up to 15-30 minutes prior to set up the room the way you would like. You will have four tables and chairs to seat up to 20 children. Our only request is no tape on the walls!
Yes. Please let the staff know when you are booking your party so they can let your assigned party host know who to expect and when.
Yes. Someone from the birthday party team will contact you the week of the party to go over details.
No, but we encourage you to email our birthday party staff at [email protected] to check for cancellations.
Yes. The Birthday party host is there to assist- not to directly supervise. They will run the bouncer and can help run games and activities upon request. Parents need to be present and visible.
Parents are responsible for leaving the multipurpose room tidy and take anything they brought with them home. Our Staff will take care of cleaning up. The YMCA has brooms, mops, garbage bags and other cleaning supplies available.
The YMCA inputs birthday party dates on a seasonal basis (2-4 months at a time). If the date you are looking for is not yet open for registration, please continue to contact the branch on a regular basis to check in. Unfortunately, we are not able to take names ahead of time. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
We will try our best to accommodate your party but the room schedules will be chosen based on availability.
*Please note, the party room attached to the Play Structure is not typically available on Saturday mornings. We will provide an alternative party room for these bookings.
No, we do not supply any decorations. Parents bring decorations and the Party Host will be available to assist decorating the party room.
The party room is in 1 of our multipurpose rooms which are 800 square feet each. Craft parties are in a larger space, 1600 square feet, to accommodate for the activity and party room in one space.
We can sit up to 8 people around our tables (table size: 72″ by 30″).
All participants are required to wear socks and all parents need to sign a waiver for their children before entering, there is a QR code outside of the structure and a link below for details:
Yes, however, please no piñata(s) with confetti inside (piñata with candy only is accepted).
Soccer, basketball, floor hockey, badminton, pickleball or volleyball.
Your party will have a section blocked off in the leisure pool. However, to accommodate the community, we keep the pool open for others to enjoy as well.
