YMCA Summer Licensed Kinder Program
(Current Child Care Participants Only)

Ages 3.8 to 5 years old

The YMCA of Oakville provides licensed child care for kindergarten children (3.8 – 5 years).  These fun and educational programs are held at designated location(s) within Oakville.

This program is designed specifically for our junior and senior kindergarten children.  Our kinder program offers 8 weeks of licensed summer/winter fun that includes games, nature discoveries, science experiments and more.  YMCA Licensed Kinder program will keep your child active and happy while helping them grow and learn.

Licensed Kinder Location(s):

  • River Oaks Public School – 2173 Munns Ave., Oakville
  • St. Andrew Catholic Elementary School – 145 Millbank Dr., Oakville

Programs operate from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • July 6-10, 2026
  • July13-17, 2026
  • July 20-24, 2026
  • July 27-31, 2026
  • August 4-7, 2026 (short week)
  • August 10-14, 2026
  • August 17-21, 2026

Fees:

  • $275.00 Base Fee per Week
  • $110.00 Weekly Rate with CWELCC Reduction (Canada-wide Early Learning Child Care Fee)

Eligibility Criteria for CWELCC

The Licensed Summer Kinder program is funded through CWELCC and is available to children under the age of six. Children may participate in the program up to the week before their sixth birthday.

How to Register:

  • Visit our Registration Portal. After logging into your online portal, select the link to the PD Days & Camps from the list. Select the location you need and save. The charge will be added to your regular billing.
  • Registrations are processed in the order received, and your current payment method on file will be charged.
  • If spaces are full, your child will be placed onto a wait list.

To Register for Inclusion Support:

If your child receives additional support in their YMCA Before and After school program or their school day, please visit our “Inclusion Support” page to submit your registration.

Cancellation 

Cancellation of your child’s registration must be made in writing to [email protected]

For requests made at least 15 days prior to the Licensed Kinder Program date, refunds will be issued less $25 per session cancellation administration fee. For requests made within 14 days of the first day of Licensed Kinder Program fees are non-refundable.
