Whether you’re just beginning your aquatic journey or advancing to your next certification, our Lifesaving Society Programs will equip you with essential skills while you have fun in the water. Develop confidence, strength, and leadership as you work towards your goals. It’s your time to Shine On!

Camp Programs

Intensive Private Lesson Packages

Cost: $210 for Mon, Wed + Fri packages, $140 for Tues + Thurs packages
Weeks offered: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 + 9

Ideal for swimmers wanting multiple private classes in one week. Train one-on-one with an experienced instructor to refine skills and reach your goals. Choose a 3-day or 2-day package, or book both for daily classes Monday to Friday! Each 45-minute class runs at 11:00 am.

Swim Patrol

Cost: $260
Weeks offered: 1 + 6

Swim Patrol focuses on stroke improvement, endurance and develops basic First Aid skills and rescues to prepare participants for future Lifesaving Society courses. Swim Patrol will challenge participants to try new skills and push to achieve the requirements for the Rookie and Ranger levels during the course.

Pre-requisite: Participants must be able to swim 25m (1 length of the pool) and tread water in the deep end.

Bronze Star

Cost: $170
Weeks offered: 2, 4 + 8

Bronze Star prepares candidates for the Bronze Medallion program. Candidates will learn rescue skills, First Aid, resuscitation, and self-rescue techniques, while improving stroke technique and endurance. Bronze Star is a 2 day course running on Monday + Tuesday of offered weeks.

Pre-requisite: None, but Swim Patrol experience is recommended. One of the required items is a 400m swim workout.

Bronze Medallion + Emergency First Aid

Cost: $260
Weeks offered: 2, 4 + 8

Bronze Medallion teaches participants responses to complex water rescue situations. It develops physical fitness, decision-making and judgment skills. 100% attendance is required by Lifesaving Society. Optional supplemental books may be purchased on first day of the course. >>>
Bronze Medallion is a 3 day course running Wednesday-Friday of offered weeks.

Pre-requisite: Candidates must be 13 years old to enroll, or have the Bronze Star certification.

Bronze Cross + Standard First Aid

Cost: $290
Weeks offered: 3, 5 + 9

Bronze Cross challenges lifesavers with more advanced training and introduces safe supervision in aquatic facilities, the principles of teamwork, rescue procedures, and the use of special equipment. 100% attendance is required by Lifesaving Society. Optional supplemental books may be purchased on first day of the course. Bronze Cross is a 4 day course running Tuesday-Friday of offered weeks.

Pre-requisite: Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid.

National Lifeguard

Cost: $400
Weeks offered: 7

NL is a nationally recognized Lifeguarding program. The course emphasizes teamwork, leadership and communication in prevention of accidents and treatment of medical emergencies. 100% attendance is required by Lifesaving Society. Optional supplemental books may be purchased on first day of the course. National Lifeguard runs Monday-Friday

Pre-requisite: Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid. Participants must be 15 years old by exam day.

PLEASE NOTE: A physical standards exam is scheduled for the last day of Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard, Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid.
