Horseback riding boots

  1. Boots (for ankle support) must be worn with a heel of no less than ½” (heel must be at 90 degrees) – for safety reasons, no running shoes or shoes with no heel will be allowed for riding or being around the horse. A pair of shoes can be brought to change into when not around the horses.
  2. Long pants must be worn – riding shorts will not be allowed
  3. Loose clothing and jewellery (necklaces) should be avoided for safety purposes
  4. Crop tops are not permitted
  5. Helmets must be worn, if you have your own, it will be checked for proper sizing and safety to ensure that all participants only ride with a safe equipment
  6. Waivers for Kings Meadow riding camp (acceptance of risk) must be signed and returned on the first day of camp in order to ride or be around the horses.

    2. Sign and send along with your camper on the first day of camp
    3. Camper to give the waiver to their counsellor
