On the first day of camp, each rider will be assigned a helmet to use for the week. Footwear will be checked (read ‘what do I need to wear’), safety demonstration will take place and safety rules will be discussed with the campers. A tour of the facility (barns, camp horses, washrooms, etc.) will help the campers get to know the site.
