Game on! There are lots of ways to get moving at the Y. Play your favourite sports and games, or try something new. From kids to adults, we’ve got something for everyone.

Badminton

16+ yrs

A great way to gain health benefits like weight loss and in increase in good cholesterol. Games will be organized based on the number of class participants. Come alone or bring your friends for a workout and some fun! Racquets and birdies supplied.

Basketball

Jiu-Jitsu

If you’ve been searching for a fun, but challenging class that teaches self-dense, Jiu-Jitsu at the Y is for you! With an emphasis on punches, kick, throws and controlling holds, it will teach you the most effective ways to defend yourself. Added benefits include increased strength, flexibility and self-confidence.

Additional Costs
The testing fee is included, uniforms are available for purchase from the class instructor. A $25 annual membership fee is paid directly to the Canadian Jiu-Jitsu Council and collected by class instructor.
Pickleball

16+ yrs

Pickleball is an easy and fun game to learn that can be played by all ages and abilities. Played on a badminton sized court with special pickleball racquets and a wiffle ball. Drop in games are organized each week so come out and join us to learn a new sport.

The Oakville Taekwondo Club runs Taekwondo programs throughout the week for YMCA members.
