Family Fitness

A family friendly class that strengthens the body, brain and the whole family! Learn simple drumming sequences to the latest tunes in this non competitive and inclusive class. Parents must accompany children to class.

Child & Teen Fitness
10+ yrs
Our youth boot camp combines a wide variety of fitness equipment and movements into a fun circuit of challenges and stations specifically designed for youth. This class incorporates traditional boot camp exercises and engaging puzzles and games in a relaxed and supportive environment for youth of all fitness levels and abilities.

This 45 minute session is designed to introduce youth to the benefits of cycle fit by incorporating a variety of engaging group games and challenges utilizing, speed, gear level, power output and endurance. Youth cycle fit is created for youth of all fitness levels and encourages friendship and teamwork in a fun and relaxed group setting lead by an experienced instructor.

If you’ve been searching for a fun, but challenging class that teaches self-dense, Jiu-Jitsu at the Y is for you! With an emphasis on punches, kick, throws and controlling holds, it will teach you the most effective ways to defend yourself. Added benefits include increased strength, flexibility and self-confidence.

Our indoor rock climbing area, the Adventure Centre, offers lots of fun and challenging climbing possibilities. With 9 ropes accessing a number of (10 m/30 ft) routes of varying difficulty, and over 3,000 square m / 10,000 square ft of bouldering area, we can provide a climb to challenge every level of climber. Featuring many movable holds and angles as well as two auto-belay units you won’t be waiting long to get to the top!
Kids under 10 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

3-8 yrs
This indoor instructional program provides players with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the soccer including: ball control, passing, shooting and defense. Each session focuses on your child’s skill development in a key area and provide a fun opportunity to apply those skills in a game environment.
*Please note: This program does not run during the summer. The current session will end in June, and a new session will begin in September.
