Family Boot Camp

6+ yrs

Get your whole family into shape with this boot camp.  Workouts consist of circuit training using small equipment and body weight exercises.  These classes will be fun and take your family to the next level.

Boot Camp

Participants will enjoy a series of challenges and games designed to enhance fitness levels while having fun. This program incorporates traditional boot camp exercises with a twist.

Cycle Fit

During this 45 minute session participants will take part in a variety of challenges; Speed, Gear level, power output, endurance and the beloved “no-bounce”. This program is designed to challenge Youth of all fitness levels as it is the individual who challenges their own abilities versus competing with the participants beside you.

Jiu-Jitsu

If you’ve been searching for a fun, but challenging class that teaches self-dense, Jiu-Jitsu at the Y is for you! With an emphasis on punches, kick, throws and controlling holds, it will teach you the most effective ways to defend yourself. Added benefits include increased strength, flexibility and self-confidence.

Additional Costs
The testing fee is included, uniforms are available for purchase from the class instructor. A $25 annual membership fee is paid directly to the Canadian Jiu-Jitsu Council and collected by class instructor.
Open Rock Climbing

Our indoor rock climbing area, the Adventure Centre, offers lots of fun and challenging climbing possibilities. With 9 ropes accessing a number of (10 m/30 ft) routes of varying difficulty, and over 3,000 square m / 10,000 square ft of bouldering area,  we can provide a climb to challenge every level of climber. Featuring many movable holds and angles as well as two auto-belay units you won’t be waiting long to get to the top!

Kids under 10 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Soccer

3-8 yrs

This indoor instructional program provides players with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the soccer including: ball control, passing, shooting and defense. Each session focuses on your child’s skill development in a key area and provide a fun opportunity to apply those skills in a game environment.

*Please note: This program does not run during the summer. The current session will end in June, and a new session will begin in September.
