Registration for the 2017-2018 school year for P.A. Day and School Break programs will be available starting at 9:00 am on September 1, 2017.

2017-18 P.A. Day and School Break registration form

The YMCA provides full-day licensed P.A. Day and School Break programs for school-age children (3.8 to 12 years) on designated P.A. Days and holiday breaks including Winter Break and March Break. These fun and educational programs are held at various child care locations within Oakville. The P.A. Day and Holiday programs are a separate registration from before and after school care.

How to register

  1. Online (credit card only)
  2. In Person – Complete the P.A. Day Registration Form and return it to the Peter Gilgan Family YMCA, 410 Rebecca Street with payment by cash, debit, or credit.
  3. Regionally Subsidized Participants: Regionally subsidized participants cannot register online. Please complete the P.A. Day Registration Form and return to Peter Gilgan Family YMCA at 410 Rebecca Street with written verification from the Region of Halton.

Registration will close two weeks prior to the program date. Full payment is required at the time of registration.

Note: YMCA Child Care locations are closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Easter Monday, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be made in writing at least two weeks prior to the P.A. day, in order to receive a refund (less the $15 administrative fee). Requests received within two weeks will not be provided refunds.
